VERO & CHRIS' WEDDING

guess where i was this past weekend?

my family traveled north...to austin, to celebrate our nieces' wedding...
this was a tiring but lovely experience for me as a photographer...
i loved it and i know we all had a great time!

here's a sneak peak for all of you guys...
hopefully i'll be able to post-process all of them before the weekend...
no promises though...

So this year Daniela got a chance to perform at the Charro Day's presentation at her school... She absolutely loved it...especially since she was performing in front of everyone...

Dany luuuuuvs the attention...so much that even her teacher calls her "Diva Daniela"... Her partner was not very amused but he enjoyed it as well...or so I think...

I'm trying to get a feel for 'textures'... I guess I'm not one to be sold on them...just yet...
I'm sure there's a time and place for them all and I just haven't found it...

after visiting your blogs yesterday i figured it out...it's ANIMALS WEEK!!!!
well...i guess it's meant to be because of our trip to the zoo yesterday, i was able to capture a few not-so-cute animals...

i didn't want to take pics at the herpetarium but oh well...these creatures seem to stay still long enough for me to achieve 'some' focus...

if only my girls would do the same...arghhhh....

don't know their name....
don't think they're venemous...who knows...

pretty scary and definitely venemous...

3. i'll call this one the beige snake...
obviously i don't know the name...
doesn't look quite venemous...hard to tell...

this one is a bad boy as i'm sure you know....
but it doesn't look like it....

where to start????

gosh...it's been since december since i was back here...a little over 3 months...nonetheless, i finally found the time...and it's not because i didn't have pics...it's just that i didn't have time to download them to the pc and then upload to the blog...so there's so much catching up to do...so instead of continuing where i left off...i'll just start where i'm at right now... first day of spring break - you'd think we'd be at south padre right? negative, it gets too crazy to take the girls out there...instead, we took them to the zoo and i vouched not to use my 24-70 or 70-200 and force myself with the 85mmm lens...so i did and ended up photographing 'stuff' that i usually don't...it's all good...the kids had a good time and we were tired afterwards...

some of the weird stuff that i never photograph (don't ask me what it is because i don't know the names of these plants)...tfl!
