Picture #1- Indie's Rich Color Pop to enhance the color in the rocks, USM and resized for web.
Picture #2 - (Same picture) I used Sweetcheeks BW conversion. I don't know if it's just me, but I think it kind of blows some of the highlights. USM and resized for web.
Anyway, water assignment day #2 done.
On to do other ones.

Very cool! I really like the color one!
Cari
nice water action
really beautiful. Love the color version and how it really makes the rocks pop.
I have found a lot of BnW conversions tend to blow out whites, there has to be a secret somewhere. I really like the color one of this and good for you for using a tripod. I like the blurred water.
Beautiful, I really love the color one, shows off the rich textures and colors. Great capture.
I like both the color and B&W, and love the texture of the rocks against the water. B&W conversions do tend to blow out whites, but the ones I use typically have a stop or two during it where I can tweak to avoid that. Nice work!
I definitely like the color version best on this one. It just looks rich and inviting. I hope to get out later today and try a tripod shot with a small waterfall. Wish me luck! I hope I can get results half as good as yours!!
Wow! I need to learn how to do those kind of shots. I really like the way the water looks.
I see what you mean on the b&w one.
Nice shot! I like the color version best.
I really like the first picture, but I agree the B&W looks a bit blown out in this shot!
ok...Cristina, I need your help! I tried a little waterfall today. I couldn't get that great effect like you captured. Can you share some tips?? I put it in manual and set a very low SS. ( 1 second) That made the exposure way off--the pic was totally white. I tried the smallest possible aperture (22 maybe)and the lowest ISO (100). TIA, if you have the time... :)
jan-try underexposing by 2 stops and i don't know if this helps but do you have a lens hood?
also, try shooting in tv mode and set it to an even slower ss (like 3.2sec instead of 1sec). hth.
Thanks for the tips Cristina!! I can't wait to try again... :)
I really like the color version. The colors are awesome.
Gorgeous cristina! I really love this one in color!
I really like the color version on this one. I agree that the highlights are a little blown out in the b&w. I usually like a lot of contrast, and I find it is hard to get it just right!
oh i love the first one! you did a great job with these!
Wonderful shot! I also like the color version.
