OK, I'll admit it. I cheated. Well, technically I did (or did I?). You see I shot this while visiting the zoo on Saturday. I figured, might as well get some shots in before the weather changes (again). So here it is. Water shot #1. I'm OK with the results though I think it needs something. I just can't decide what...TFL!
HHCC Always appreciated and most welcome!

This is absolutely breathtaking! I LOOOOVE it!
Love the way you blurred the waterfall. Very nice effect.
Did you do a defog? That may be all it needs to pop:) I LOooooooVVvvvEEE that whispy water feeling, so smooth.
nice loong exposure!!!
Only cc...I wish to see a bit more of where the water is flowing into instead of the details on the right of the image...kwim?
This is beautiful. I don't think it needs anything at all!
It looks really dreamy to me. I like it!
Very cool effect with the cottony water- I like it!
Beautiful. I love it. I can almost hear the water falling.
This.is.beautiful.
I think the colors and spray of the water are my favorite parts. Great shot!
Beautiful!

Cari
Definitly not cheating, this is way to gorgeous of a photo not to use. Beautiful!
I wanna go THERE! you know it's a good shot when it immediately makes me wanna go!
I like the effect on this.
It tis gorgeous.
the only idea I have is that I think it would be interesting to play with a vertical crop with less greenery on the right, more of the focus on the water.
But it is a lovely shot the way it is.
Thanks guys.
mom2drew-the action that i use to resize has a usm/defog included. maybe i should've done it again (the defog i mean)
mar- i couldn't get anything in the front because there was a stupid gate that kept showing at the bottom of my viewfinder :(
sara- i thought about that but with my darn cheap tripod (wal-mart $30) i couldn't figure out how to turn it to portrait mode (and i needed it steady for the ss)
i guess i'll just have to buy one of those fancy tripods that can do that (is there any like that)
Cristina that is just breathtaking!!...I tried to do that today too on my POTD but somehow blurring tap water just doesn't seem the same...so i had to scrap those photos!!
Great composition - i actually like the trees and branches on the side - it adds more texture.
TFS!!
You didn't cheat at all I love this!
Beautiful Shot - I love smoky water shots. I agree with mar, maybe shoot it in portrait next time.
