I went to Mexico last night to look for "colorful" shots for the CC-Color Challenge....or at least that was my excuse before the margaritas...heehee
Anyway, I figure I might as well share them with the gals from the POTD challenge...so here they are.
And just to let you know, the "beggar" was not letting me take her picture so that shot is extremely cropped (hence the pixellation). I had to go across the street, change to the 85mm lens, and shoot inconspicously so that she wouldn't cover her face...hmmm, maybe I should've given her a $10 and that'd done it...
SPECS: Manual Mode, 50 & 85mm lens, ISO 400 (all shots) AV 1.8-2.5, SS 1/800 to 1/4000.
PP: Resize, USM, and Indie's Subtle (as if they needed more color huh).
TFL!

So much color!! I love the vibrant feel of your pics, Cristina. They really jump off the screen. The "beggar" is such a storytelling shot. Really nice. I'm sorry she would not let you get more of her! Thanks for sharing. I love your choice of subjects--every day!
wow! the color! these are fantastic. love your sneaky shot of the beggar...such a telling story.
I really like the third shot. The orange and blue are so vibrant and the lines are great!
Oh my goodness look at all that wonderful color!!!
About the mini wallets, there is 8 of them on a 5x7 so they are pretty small. I'm sure there is something real creative I could do with them, but just drawing a blank right now LOL
Those are absolute gorgeous! Funny abut the beggar. Maybe some food next time :) I love the clor in your photos!
BTW - I don't remember wha tI did for the post processing in my photo you commented on. I just messed around since I didn't like the original :)
Wow, stunning color! Fabulous shots.
ok, ROFL at your comments on my blog! you are funny, girl! btw, my hobbies are numerous and drive dh absolutely nuts! he keeps telling me to "focus! focus!" silly man....thanks for all the nice comments!
WOW!!! The color and focus on all of these are amazing. On the last one it does seem soft. You said that it was from extreme cropping. If you shoot at a lower ISO you won't have so much pixelation when you crop. that's what I had to do with my dew drops.
Did you ever find that apple do-hicky at your mom's? LOL
i came over to help you get the music on your blog but you did it! love it btw! great job!
I can't tell you anything that is new...the colors are brilliant. The third one is so cool. You almost don't know what it is and the lines in it are awesome! Loved your shots and the music made me feel I was there. Funny about the begger!! Great job on all these!!
A couple days ago, my friend and I were looking at blogs and I showed her yours as one of my favorite. She was so floored with your comment, "I went to Mexico to get some color". Funny thing is she has commented back on that line a couple times since...quite funny because now its kind of a joke...all in good fun!
