Yup, my favorite subject. However, since I'm in a diet, I'm going to excuse myself from it and eat my favorite foods in order to take their pic right????? Thank you, I knew you guys would agree with me. So without much delay, here's my first try at food. Shot at the flea market last week (on purpose) specifically for this week...now ain't I clever, shooting ahead...
Now, if I could only plan my meals ahead of time I'd be set...

I absolutely love the first picture. All the colors, the food - wonderful job.
And.. for the horse shot you asked about the background. Its a muslin from silverlake
(10x20) and I love it :) And the border I just used some brushes I found online and then lowered the opacity to lighten them up :)

I'm not sure about the framing of the second- I think I'm not loving the "floating" bananas...Maybe a tighter crop? But that's only my opinion.

really love the first shot too. The DOf is cool, and the different foods definitly lend an attractive feel to the shot.

I really like the first shot. Great DOF! AND...I love your colorful Mexico photos from the previous post. The color is amazing! My sisters both live in Texas and I've always wanted to take a trip into Mexico just to take photos. :) We're headed to Texas next week over Spring Break, but no Mexico visit this time either.
