Emotions: Grumpy

I don't know if you've seen this shot before (MB) but here she is. My grumpy Dany. At this point, I think she's beyond grumpy, she's just plain spoiled... Seriously. To the point where she makes a scene every morning and refuses to go to school and every night she packs her little sack and tells me she's ready to go to Grandma's house...And I have no idea how she got that way ... I think it's Nany's fault!
BTW - The color-pop (settings) for this shot are compliments of dear buddy Sara (SocialWorkMama). Thanks girl! You're the best ;)

SPECS: Manual Mode with 50mm f/1.8 lens, Natural light, ISO 400.
PP: USM and Channel Mixer with Sara's #'s.

I love it. What mommy hasn't seen this face before? She's got a great pout! And I adore that color pop! :)

Ahhh, what a little sweetie. Don't all kids want to run away to grandma's and grandpa's.... :)

I wanted to reply to your CC on my photo. The eyes of that little boy? I didn't touch them! Seriously! I just posted another pic of him in the 2peas gallery because I can't get over his bright blue eyes. So if they're "too much", it's not my doing! lol ;)

Really like what the color pop did to the grass. Really made it bright and spring-y. And great emotion capture -- the pout. TFS

I love this one! Her expression is priceless and she looks so laid back. The dress is beautiful and looks great against the contrast of the grass.

WOWSWERS...check out that GREEN!!! It seriously works for this shot where at other times it may be too bright. Yes, I'd like to know what you did with your color pop here too.

Awww, that face says it all. Beautiful capture of your grumpy girl.

I had to laugh at your journaling, don't all kids back their bags to runaway or to go live with the grandparents. I remember doing it myself and my dad telling that he would help me pack and drive me there! I realized quickly that this wasn't going the way I wanted.

Tee hee...I'm not laughing at you...totally laughing with you!! I have one too but I keep telling myself that though she's difficult to deal with now, when she's grown there isn't anyone who will mess with her!! Mine is only three though so I may have to call you for advice when she's older...LOL!!Awesome shot!

LoL this is so cute! And I love how green that grass looks!
I'm not a mommy, but we have tons of kids in the family, so I know this grumpy look very well...
My mom & dad also gets blamed for spoiling! But...I have to say...they're guilty as charged! They always say..."What else would we do besides spoil?"

What a character!
These make for great memories as they outgrow these stages. I wish I had taken more of my son...he had quite the mad face. And at almost 13, the look has changed a lot.

My youngest ds was exactly like that when he was little. Definitely independent and stubborn! He always said he was going to run away to his aunt's house. The color pop looks great on this and I love the angle of it.

I'm late commenting, but the grass is fab...and the dress--great colors. They really pop. Great capture as well.
