Our soccer season has come to an end. Unfortunately, we lost in the state semifinal match this past Friday. However, I couldn't be more proud of the accomplishments of this year's varsity team.

Love the huddle shot! Those are the shots I always try to capture w/nephews Football and nieces basketball. I love how the team looks all huddled together! It's so....teamlike! LoL-

OOOO, I feel like I'm watching it on TV. When we lived in Spain, we used to see matches like this all the time, so full of victory and life! You can feel the excitement in the air here. I'll say it again...think you do really well with the sports stuff, you are careful not to cut off limbs and get the faces/emotion into the shot. Great job!
Great idea for emotion. The ones evoked by sports--particularly soccer--are definitely large and raw. Great shots.
Great emotion! Very true - My DH and I lived in Haiti & those children LOVE soccer & play it ALL the time (at least when the have a ball)!!!! They also listen to it on the radio when they have one of those. We took our Playstation 2 down there & there was already a TV - so we hooked it up & I had my Mom purchase my DH "FIFA 2006" for his birthday & it was shipped down there in a barrel with food & clotes & stuff...and he & the KIDS loved it & played it all the time when the generator was on! Soccer is FULL of emotion. Thanks so much for sharing your shots...they are great! (And they bring back many emotions & memories for me!)

My DD and I were hanging tonight and she was looking at POTD blogs and I was pointing her to some of my favorites. She loves to look at photos and is becoming quite the photographer. Being a soccer player, she commented how much she liked these.
