The picture was taken on our way back from South Padre one summer night last August. Jaime (dh) was driving on the causeway and I was literally sticking my camera out of the window trying very hard for the rail not to come out (at the bottom of shot)...looking back, not a very good idea :D

Gorgeous! I love the way the pier is silhouetted (I know I didn't spell that right!). I wish I was there right now instead of snowy, cold Ohio. YUCK!
By the way, I love all the photos from the previous post. I also teach special ed and have a special place in my heart for students with disabilities. Your sister sounds like a very dedicated teacher and mentor to all of them.
Ah...with sunsets like that, sticking out the window is a MUST!!! at least you were not sitting outside on the window. I've done that I'm afraid.
