Soooo.... I've purchased the ribbon, now what? This ribbon is supposed to be used to make myself a 'neck strap' and replace my generic Canon one. But I don't have a clue where to begin. I figure I could figure something like this out but honestly, now that I've tried to... it doesn't seem lie such a simple task anymore... oh the things I get into...
I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmmmm.... can't help you there bc I have absolutely no clue how to do anything like this.....my strap came from my very good TALENTED friend DebraR. I'll send her an email and maybe she can tell you what to do? I love the Ribbon though, very pretty:) I do know that with my strap she used a fabric, that I picked out and it makes it soooo much more comfortable:) I'll email her.
hello..i got the email this morning to see if i could help.. very cute ribbon. that style is usually pretty sturdy and versitile.... i have seen it where some people just sew the two pieces together using the existing strap piece that came from your original strap. you know the nylon webbing part with attatchments. the only problem i see with that, is honestly, i wouldn't trust putting a $2k+ camera on it hoping that it won't fall apart. when people use just one straight stitch all the way around, you aren't giving enough support and therefore running the risk of the stitches breaking and good camera falling. there's a reason the camera companies made their straps the way they do. and the one's that i have made i followed that... if you want, take a look at my blog. they are in the june entries. and if you like that style. i can try to explain what you can do with the ribbon so that it works out for you...oh, i love your ttd sessions.. your neice and boyfriend are such a cute couple and they did an awesome job modeling.....
oops.. it's actually my may entries. oh, please don't laugh at how long it's been since i posted on my blog... i am taking a hiatus...
Oh what cool ribbon. I was thinking of doing this myself so I'm off to see how it was done. Thanks for posting.
Love the ribbon.
LOVE the pics of your girls on the couch. So sweet!
Love the pink and brown ribbon. I hope you figure out how to make your strap...can't wait to see photos of it! I thought about making myself one, but then decided I didn't want to tackle it and just bought one instead. LOL I love it!
LOL, I was just thinking the same thing the other day- I need to cover mine but have no clue where to start. GOOD Luck!!
Cristina, unfortunately, I have NO IDEA how to do that, but I can tell you that the ribbons are TDF! I love pink and brown!! Hope you get it together soon so I can see it!
